About our process and finishings

What is

Powder Coating?

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. It is applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light.

Here at Ultrafinish Powder Coating we cure our powder with heat. Some of the benefits of powder coating include things like rust prevention, durability, high quality surface finish, allows for customisation of colour and finish. Powder coating is typically very low maintenance given it is highly durable and resistant to corrosion or scratches.
